October 31st

2011: Gavin has strep throat and David is home sick. Of course, trick or treating - Gavin is batman, Jared is Robin, and Amelie is a Teddy bear!
2012: Gavin is Bona Fett, Jared is a vampire, and Amelie is a ladybug.
2013: Gavin is a ninja, Jared is a zombie, and Amelie is Raggedy Ann.

October 30th

2011: Bought season 4 of The Big Bang Theory.
2012: The lake has 25 ft waves today!
2013: I took over 100 pictures of Ami in her costume.

October 29th

2011: David's 28th birthday! We made 4 bags of wings, and had ice cream cake!
 2012: Dave slept in until 10 for his birthday.
2013: David's 30th birthday - he got a big bonus at work.

October 28th

2011: Amelie can officially roll from back to front and front to back. Sometimes she gets stuck on her side arm and gets really frustrated.
2012: I made French toast, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns for breakfast.
2013: Dave stayed home sick again from work, I worked on Amelie's Halloween costume.

October 27th

2011: We watched Tangled.
2012: we had a bonfire to celebrate David's birthday. Chris and colleen, big Dave, al, Danielle and jared, Hunter, my mom and Bryce all came.
2013: We stayed in pajamas and watched movies all day.

October 26th

2011: Gavin had a fever and stayed home. We ordered Dominoes Pizza for dinner.
2012: I bought a toilet paper holder for the bathroom.
2013: Dave stayed home with Amelie while I took the boys to the pumpkin patch with Amy and Kevin.

October 25th

2011: I got to sleep in and David gave me a pumpkin spice coffee when I woke up.
2012: David and I watched Seinfeld.
2013: Dave lost his voice and stayed home sick.

October 24th

2011: We hung spider lights as a Halloween decoration.
2012: The boys and I made hand print spiders.
2013: I went with Jared's class to Barbott's Farm for a field trip.

October 23rd

2011: David and I went to see Chinese Acrobats at the Mendel Center
2012: David tried to put the doors on our bedrooms, but it didnt go well.
2013: I watched "Stalked" all day.

October 22nd

2011: Had a leaf party at Riverview Park!
2012: Gavin's school had a two hour delay, so we all slept in!
2013: Dave brought me a bunch of chocolate home!

October 21st

2011: The boys got Halloween presents from Nana!
2012: I took Gavin grocery shopping with me; I bought pumpkin spice butter.
2013: I stayed in my pajamas all day recovering from the weekend.

October 20th

2011: Jared bit Gavin's finger in the bathtub.
2012: David replaced a fuse on the car and smoke started pouring out.
2013: All our company left, and we took naps.

October 19th

2011: Had an appointment at the WIC office, the boys were happy they didn't get their fingers pricked. Gavin said "Whew! That was close!"
2012: The boys and I had a movie night and watched Star Wars II.
2013: David's Roast!

October 18th

2011: We picked out tiny pumpkins at the store.
2012: I put mirrors up in the hall.
2013: David's mom and step-dad got here, we shopped all afternoon.

October 17th

2011: Gavin comforted a little girl who was crying on the bus. He asked her name and told her about his wii games.
2012: Chris forsteri's dad died; Adam came over and we drank.
2013: I made beer cupcakes for Dave's birthday party.

October 16th

2011: Bought the boys' Halloween costumes; Batman for Gavin and Robin for Jared.
2012: Gavin's leader day at school - he brought Obi Wan's ship for show and tell.
2013: I cleaned all day to get ready for company.

October 15th

2011: Spent the day face painting at Jollay Orchards. The boys wrestled in the grass.
2012: Gavin got his kindergarten school picture back!
2013: Our hot water is out.

October 14th

2011: Gavin and Jared made "dark tents" in their room. They played "Batman lego" - Gavin was Batman, Jared was Robin.
2012: We bought and painted pumpkins.
2013: I put the trim back up in the back room.

October 13th

2011: Took Gavin with me to Meijer, he rode the penny horse.
2012: We went to a birthday party for Echo and Harmony. We had to leave early because Amelie wouldn't stop hugging all the babies.
2013: We got a piano.

2011: Jared and I made pancakes for breakfast; He put chocolate chips in his.
2012: Gavin got hot lunch for the first time - bosco sticks!
2013: Dave cleaned up the deck and pulled all the weeds.

2011: Dave and I watched Hot Tub Time Machine.
2012: We bought a wood burner!
2013: Big Dave took the kids, I stayed in bed sick all day.

2011: I lost my voice.
2012: I made deer meat chili for dinner.
2013: I folded socks for two hours.

2011: The Mandenburgs stopped by to see Amelie. We played outside.
2012: The boys and I looked at Halloween costumes.
2013: I got our new computer for the back room.

2011: I went out to the Boathouse with Sara and Dara.
2012: I started putting up the new wallpaper.
2013: Amelie and I went grocery shopping.

October 7th

2011: David got a job as a Spec Writer at the radio station.
2012: I had to listen to a bunch of 8 year old girls sing "call me maybe" at work.
2013: I got my laptop back!

October 6th

2011: I visited with my Grandma, Aunt Shelly, and my cousin Melissa. We went out for Chinese, Amelie was so good!
 2012: I took the kids to star wars day at the library.
2013: I started working on stuff for David's party.

2011: We got a free pizza from Dominos and I won a giveaway from Razing Mayhem!!
 2012: we bought our bathroom mirrors from Lowe's. They were half off!
2013: I made waffles with my new waffle iron.

October 4th

2011: Gavin's first sick day, he wasn't too upset and played Batman Lego Wii all day.
2012: David and I went to all the thrift stores looking for jeans for Gavin, but ended up having to get then from old navy.
2013: Ami wore her new fur boots.

October 3rd

2011: Jared and I made homemade playdoh.
2012: I packed Gavin chicken and rice soup with crackers for his lunch.
2013: I bought a new tv and blu ray player.

October 2nd

2011: Spent 5 hours at Jollay Orchards with Jen and Andrea. Saw Mike and Cathy, watched their puppet show.
2012: Jared and I planted the rest of the daffodils.
2013: Ami spent the morning coloring.

October 1st

2011: Took the boys shopping, Gavin got a nerf gun and Jared got a big tube of cars.
2012: I volunteered at Gavin's school.
2013: I drank two bottles of wine.

September 30th

2011: Amelie wore her first pair of corduroys.
2012: I hosted a princess party in CKM.
2013: I hooked up our computer, which still worked after being rained on.
