2011: We went down to my mom's to celebrate New Years Eve.
 2012: the boys watched men in black 2 while I played harry potter.
2013: Gavin made it to midnight! We had a balloon countdown.

2011: David and I watched The Hangover 2.
 2012: We went to jens to take showers.
2013: I listened to the Grateful Dead all morning.

December 29th

2011: The boys cleaned their room all by themselves, and the did a good job!
2012: Amelie is 1 1/2! I took a chair picture of her.
2013: Ami woke up three times having nightmares.

December 28th

2011: David took Jared on a trip to Hobart to pick up his friend Gus.
2012: I took the boys outside for the first time this winter.
2013: We had a movie night with Dave.

2011: Alex came over to play for a little while. 2012: we played a lot of PlayStation.

2011: Amelie has her first little cold. 2011: We all went to my mom's to have dinner with Bryce's family.

2011: Had Christmas morning with my mom and Hunter, David took the boys to his family in the afternoon. We watched Due Date later that evening. 2012: first Christmas in our house, we didnt go anywhere.

2011: Amelie tried a piece of Honeydew melon for the first time - she loved it! 2012: my mom, Bryce, hunter, Adam, and big Dave came over for Christmas eve.

2011: My mom bought us a new TV table. 2012: David played Santa on the radio.

December 22nd

2011: Gavin gave his teachers and bus drivers Christmas cards and Bigby gift cards. 2012: we did a ton of cleaning.

2011: The boys and I made rice crispy wreaths. 2012: I helped at Gavin's class Christmas party.

2011: I took Jared to the park before we picked Gavin up from school. 2012: David went ice skating with the kindergarten class.

2011: Gavin had his first dentist appointment - he has two extra teeth!

2011: Amelie went to the doctor and got 3 shots. She weighs 15 lbs and is 24 1/2 in long!
2013: Jared stayed home with pink eye.

2011: Jared and I baked pistachio cookies while Gavin was a school and the baby was sleeping. 2012: David picked up our new flooring from Perry Ballard
2013: It was the family Christmas party at David's grandma's.

2011: David's dad took the kids and we went to lunch at the Chinese Buffet!
2012: David got a job as a telemarketer.
2013: Our guinea pig, Trixie, died.

2011: Took Amelie and Jared to a couple thrift stores this morning; Bought a ceramic owl, a few vintage sheets, and an embroidered cat picture.
2012: today was our leaf jumping party; we had 17 kids and 14 adults!
2013: Dave finally picked up Adam after he missed 3 flights.

2011: The boys and I talked about electricity today.
2012: Gavin had a half day. We took the boys to pizza hut to celebrate the end of the semester.
2013: Michaela spent the night and Amy and Kevin came over for a fire.

2011: Amelie screamed all day - she's teething!

2011: Got a package from David's mom - 800 stickers fro Jared and Lego Star Wars for Gavin. 2012: Jared helped me make chocolate spoons.

2011: I took the boys to the Christmas Carnival where David was working with the radio station. Jen took us to Bells' in Kalamazoo.

2011: Gavin has strep throat and David is home sick. Of course, trick or treating - Gavin is batman, Jared is Robin, and Amelie is a Teddy bear!
2012: Gavin is Bona Fett, Jared is a vampire, and Amelie is a ladybug.
2013: Gavin is a ninja, Jared is a zombie, and Amelie is Raggedy Ann.

October 30th

2011: Bought season 4 of The Big Bang Theory.
2012: The lake has 25 ft waves today!
2013: I took over 100 pictures of Ami in her costume.

October 29th

2011: David's 28th birthday! We made 4 bags of wings, and had ice cream cake!
 2012: Dave slept in until 10 for his birthday.
2013: David's 30th birthday - he got a big bonus at work.

2011: Amelie can officially roll from back to front and front to back. Sometimes she gets stuck on her side arm and gets really frustrated.
2012: I made French toast, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns for breakfast.
2013: Dave stayed home sick again from work, I worked on Amelie's Halloween costume.

2011: We watched Tangled.
2012: we had a bonfire to celebrate David's birthday. Chris and colleen, big Dave, al, Danielle and jared, Hunter, my mom and Bryce all came.
2013: We stayed in pajamas and watched movies all day.

2011: Gavin had a fever and stayed home. We ordered Dominoes Pizza for dinner.

2011: Had an appointment at the WIC office, the boys were happy they didn't get their fingers pricked. Gavin said "Whew! That was close!"

2012: I put mirrors up in the hall.
2013: David's mom and step-dad got here, we shopped all afternoon.

2011: Gavin comforted a little girl who was crying on the bus. He asked her name and told her about his wii games.
2012: Chris forsteri's dad died; Adam came over and we drank.
2013: I made beer cupcakes for Dave's birthday party.

2011: Bought the boys' Halloween costumes; Batman for Gavin and Robin for Jared.
2012: Gavin's leader day at school - he brought Obi Wan's ship for show and tell.

2011: Spent the day face painting at Jollay Orchards. The boys wrestled in the grass.

2011: Ate Frito covered chicken fingers for dinner - Gavin ate 3! I made the green beans way too spicy. 2012: we bought a new shower head, but David cracked it trying to put it on!

2012: Gavin's first day of kindergarten. He made a friend named Benjamin.
